Skilax drops: Each ml contains Sulfolax (Sodium Picosulfate B.P.) 7.5mg.

Skilax is used in the management of constipation of any aetiology, bowel clearance before surgery, childbirth or radiological investigations.

Dosage: Adults 10 -15 drops once a day. Children 2-5 years: 2 - 3 drops once daily, 6 -10 years: 2- 5 drops once daily. The dosage may be adjusted, under medical advice, according to the age and symptoms. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily while using any laxative.

Contraindications :

Not to be used in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute surgical abdominal conditions like acute appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, and in severe dehydration. Not to be used in patients with a known hypersensitivity to sodium picosulfate or any other component of the product. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine
