Sucrafil is a combination of medicament containing ulcer protective and local anaesthetic. It helps in the treatment of ulcers that develop in the intestine by creating a coating around the ulcers. This coating protects the ulcers from getting injured, thus they have time to heal effectively. This gel is helpful against the following conditions: duodenal ulcer, acidity and heartburn.
How to Use
- Take 1–2 teaspoons (5–10ml) orally, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime.
- Do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after taking.
- Shake well before use.
- Avoid taking antacids within 30 minutes of this gel.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions for dosage and duration.
Warnings and Precautions
- Not recommended for children unless prescribed.
- Use with caution in kidney disease due to aluminum content.
- May cause constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, or mild nausea.
- Avoid alcohol and inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Maintain a 2-hour gap between this gel and other oral medications to avoid absorption issues.
