SUCRALFIL O GEL 100ML
SUCRALFIL O GEL 100MLis indicated in the short term( up-to 8 weeks) treatment of active duodenal ulcer. It is also indicated for gastric ulcer, chronic gastritis and reflux oesophagitis. Sucralfil o gel relieves subjective symptoms of peptic ulceration e.g epigastric pain, hyperchlorhydria, vomiting etc. Maintenance treatment after successful endoscopically proven, recently healed duodenal ulcer.
Sucrafil O gel contains sucralfate 1g which binds to hydrochloric acid in the stomach and acts like an acid buffer with cytoprotective properties and oxetacaine 20mg which is an anaesthetic.
Dosage:
Adults: 10ml, four times daily, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime.
Children- Not for use in children below 12 years.
Sucrafil o gel should only be used during pregnancy only, if clearly needed.
Caution should be exercised when Sucrafil o gel is administered to a nursing woman.
