GAVISCON DOUBLE ACTION LIQUID 150ML  ANTIACID

Gaviscon double action liquid in an anti acid  that is used to treat Gastric reflux, reflux oesophagitis and heartburn

Gaviscon double action contains sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate , calcium carbonate and saccharin. The sodium alginate reacts with saliva and gastric acid to produce a viscous gel which floats in the stomach suppressing gastric reflux and also lining the oesophagus and protects the mucosa. The calcium carbonate and sodium carbonate neutralize the gastric acid.

Dosage

Adults and children>12yrs - 10- 20ml after meals and at bedtime.

Not recommended for children less than 12yrs.

Safe to use in pregnancy.
