CARE OLIVE OIL EAR DROPS 10ML are for softening and removal of earwax prior to syringing by a doctor or nurse.
It contains Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ph.Eur. 100.0% v/v.
The eardrops come ready for use with a separate dropper and should be used at room temperature. Tilt the head sideways with the affected ear facing upwards. Without touching the ear with the dropper, use it to place 2 to 3 drops of the oil into the ear and massage around the outside of the ear. Keep the head tilted for a few minutes to let the drops reach the eardrum then plug the ear lightly with cotton wool to prevent leakage. Use the drops twice a day for up to 7 days.
It can be used by adults, the elderly and children over 1 year.
Children under 5 should receive direct medical supervision.
Should only be used in pregnancy and breastfeeding if advised by a doctor.
Do not use if you have a perforated eardrum.
